This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Sept. 24

3:16 p.m.: Karen K. Thomas, 53, of the 23000 block of state Route 13, was arrested in the 2400 block of Clarendon Road on charges of driving while intoxicated and possession of marijuana.

Sept. 26

8:13 p.m.: Deanna K. Gilmore, 25, of the 200 block of East Sixth Street, was arrested near the intersection of South Ohio Avenue and East Sixth Street on a charge of identity theft.

8:15 p.m.: Irving A. Martin, 32, of the 200 block of East Sixth Street, was arrested near the intersection of South Ohio Avenue and East Sixth Street on charges of public peace disturbance and resisting arrest.

10:46 p.m.: Jessie Jean Cornwell, 24, of the 1900 block of South Park Avenue, was arrested in the 1600 block of South Ohio Avenue on a charge of assault.

Sept. 27

9:25 a.m.: Kevin D. Huff, 31, of the 1600 block of East 10th Street, was arrested in the 300 block of East 16th Street on charges of driving with a suspended license, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.

Sept. 28

12:19 p.m.: Michael Anthony Chamberlain, 46, of the 1000 block of West Third Street, was arrested at his residence on a charge of third degree domestic assault.

Incidents

Sept. 27

5:39 a.m.: Binoculars and a cell phone were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in a residence driveway in the 200 block of South Gentry Avenue.

Sept. 28

6:55 a.m.: A victim reported a subject got into her locked vehicle in the 2200 block of West Second Street. Other than items being spread around her vehicle, only a phone charger was reported missing.

10:17 a.m.: Two cordless drills were reported stolen in the 1300 block of Maple Lane. The victim also reported someone had scratched their initials into the paint of his truck. Value of the stolen items and damage is estimated at $825.

Arrests

Sept. 25

1:45 p.m.: Jeremy Cullison, 36, of Clinton, was arrested in Johnson County on a charge of third degree assault.

10:43 p.m.: Jada S. Clemons, 39, of Anderson, Indiana, was arrested in Saline County on charges of driving while intoxicated, driving with a suspended license and leaving the scene of a vehicle accident.

11:36 p.m.: Brian D. Hunt, 52, of Warrensburg, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the road.

Sept. 26

12:45 a.m.: Kenneth E. Witherspoon, 28, of Deepwater, was arrested in Henry County on charges of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the road.

Sept. 27

1:51 p.m.: Rachel R. Laschanzky, 37, of Stover, was arrested in Morgan County on charges of failure to drive on the right half of the road resulting in a vehicle accident and driving while intoxicated.

5:47 p.m.: Donald C. Wacker, 51, of Nixa, was arrested in Henry County on charges of driving while intoxicated, possession of a controlled substance, possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and second degree endangering the welfare of a child.

Sept. 28

4:30 a.m.: Terry G. Doyle, 20, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of three counts of third degree assault and two counts of property damage.
