Arrests

Sept. 29

4:56 p.m.: Christopher Ray Bennett, 23, of the 1700 block of South Engineer Avenue, was arrested in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard on a charge of stealing.

Incidents

Sept. 29

12:55 p.m.: Keys to a residence were reported stolen in the 800 block of East Sixth Street. The victim stated he was talking with a subject at the front door when he went to check on his dog. When he returned, the keys had been removed from the deadbolt in the front door.

4 p.m.: A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle at Liberty Park in the 1500 block of East Third Street.

Missouri State Highway Patrol

Arrests

Sept. 30

1:44 a.m.: Billy D. Pickard, 22, of Leeton, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of operating an ATV while under the influence of alcohol, operating an ATV on a highway and operating an unregistered ATV.
