Oct. 5 Police Reports


This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Oct. 2

3:42 p.m.: David Breckenridge Doyle, 27, of the 30000 block of McCormick Street in Sedalia, was arrested on a charge of stealing by shoplifting in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard.

6:38 p.m.: Alan R. McKinsey, 61, of Lincoln, was arrested on a charge of theft by stealing in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard.

Oct. 3

1:06 p.m.: A report of forgery was taken in the 600 block of South Missouri Avenue. The victim reported that a credit card was used to purchase $61.40 worth of food at Pizza Hut.

1:52 p.m.: A report of theft by stealing was taken in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard.

4:15 p.m.: A report of theft by stealing of a bicycle was taken in the 12oo block of East 19th Street. The bicycle has an estimated value of $250.

3:24 p.m.: A report of theft by stealing of a PlayStation controller was taken in the 3400 block of West Broadway Boulevard.

11:35 p.m.: A report of identity theft was taken. The suspect reportedly used someone else’s identity to obtain a loan.

Oct. 2

9:00 p.m.: A burglary was reported in the 22000 block of Hitaffer Road.

Oct. 3

2:03 a.m.: A domestic disturbance was reported in the 100 block of West Clay Street in Smithton.

12:05 p.m.: A theft was reported from a business in the 36000 block of Rod and Gun Club Road in Cole Camp.

Oct. 2

7:04 a.m.: Darin B. Wood, 18, of Lake St. Louis, was arrested in Saline County on charges of driving while intoxicated, careless and imprudent driving, and no seat belt.

10:35 p.m.: Jimmy T. Jackson, 23, of Seymour, was arrested in Henry County on charges of felony possession of a controlled substance, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, failure to display valid license plates and failure to operate a motor vehicle on a highway without a valid driver’s license.

Oct. 3

1:34 a.m.: Taylor D. Gambell, 24, of Kansas City, was arrested in Clay County on charges of driving while intoxicated and speeding.

3:35 p.m.: Cynthis W. Kahacho, 20, of Warrensburg, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended or revoked license and failure to register a motor vehicle.

9:42 p.m.: Danielle g. Denney, 20, of Centertown, was arrested in Johnson county on charges of driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving.

11:16 p.m.: Carlos Nunez, 34, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of driving while intoxicated, endangering the welfare of a child, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway and no valid driver license.

Oct. 4

2:33 a.m.: Ajamu A. Gilmore, 38, of Otterville, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of driving while intoxicated, speeding, failure to stop at a stop sign.
