Oct. 13 Police Reports


This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Oct. 10

1:32 p.m.: Elva L. Tamayo, 28, of Springfield, was arrested in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard on charges of stealing and first degree burglary.

8:41 p.m.: Jade N. Banty, 19, of Marshall, and Kayla S. Grimes, 33, of the 400 block of East Seventh Street, were both arrested in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard on a charge of stealing.

Oct. 11

1:48 p.m.: Patricia A. Sawyer, 50, of the 1500 block of East Fifth Street, was arrested at her residence on a charge of assault.

6:23 p.m.: Chad Kelly Arnwine Sr., 45, no address given, was arrested in the 2400 block of Stacey Lane on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

7:56 p.m.: Leah Ann Trolinger, 52, of Windsor, was arrested in the 2800 block of West Broadway Boulevard on charges of driving while intoxicated and improper lane usage.

Incidents

Oct. 10

4:51 p.m.: $40 in cash was reported stolen from a residence in the 1600 block of Honeysuckle Road. The victim said their house key was also missing.

7:12 p.m.: A DeWalt drill, valued between $300 and $400, was reported stolen from a residence in the 600 block of East 10th Street.

7:27 p.m.: A hit-and-run vehicle accident was reported near the intersection of West 16th Street. and South Thompson Boulevard.

10:02 p.m.: An employee reported suspects stole a belt from the business in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard, leaving in a white passenger car. Officers located and stopped the vehicle. They searched the suspects and the vehicle, but did not locate the belt. Video footage was later reviewed and it showed the suspects threw the belt into the back of a pickup truck, but the complainant didn’t wish to pursue charges.

Oct. 11

10:42 a.m.: A subject reportedly spray-painted graffiti on a vehicle in the 300 block of West Seventh Street.

9:13 p.m.: A set of keys was reported stolen off a table at a business in the 3100 block of West Broadway Boulevard.

9:18 p.m.: A 1997 baby blue four-door Acura Integra was reported stolen in the 400 block of West Fifth Street.

Oct. 12

1:54 p.m.: A vehicle’s windshield was reported broken in front of a residence in the 100 block of West 10th Street.

Arrests

Oct. 10

2:20 p.m.: Carolina Quetzecuta-Marcos, of Sedalia, was arrested near the intersection of Center Avenue and Broadway Boulevard on charges of driving with a suspended/revoked license, no seat belt and failure to drive on the right half of the road.

Incidents

Oct. 10

1:39 a.m.: Deputies observed Seth M. Johnson, of Sedalia, and Chance N. Duffman, of Knob Noster, drag-racing west on 16th Street near State Fair Community College. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on both parties and they were given a court summons for drag-racing.

Oct. 12

9 a.m.: An assault was reported in the 1400 block of Quisenberry Road in Sedalia.

Arrests

Oct. 9

7:35 p.m.: Paul K. Neibling, 28, of Lenexa, Kansas, was arrested in Morgan County on charges of failure to exercise highest degree of care of watercraft and boating while intoxicated.

Oct. 10

1:58 a.m.: Rose M. Wilson, 50, of Stover, was arrested in Morgan County on charges of failure to register a motor vehicle and driving while intoxicated.

Oct. 11

12:18 a.m.: Marcus A. Henley, 55, of Lee’s Summit, was arrested in Morgan County on charges of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the road.

6:40 p.m.: Jeffrey P. Pratt, 21, of Sunrise Beach, was arrested in Moniteau County on charges of possession of a controlled substance, driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving.

7:17 p.m.: Donald S. Escagne, 59, of Independence, was arrested in Benton County on charges of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the road.
