This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Oct. 14

10:11 a.m.: Bradley A. Lee, 28, of the 2300 block of Lewis Circle, was arrested near the intersection of South Engineer Avenue and East Sixth Street on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Oct. 16

3:57 p.m.: Kenneth Dwayne Holt, 47, of the 1300 block of East Boonville Street, was arrested near the intersection of East Boonville Street and South Harding Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

7 p.m.: Asem M. Johnson, 19, of the 100 block of Roadrunner Court, was issued a municipal court summons in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard for stealing.

7:10 p.m.: Cuauhtemoc Pascual-Waldo, 26, of the 500 block of East 15th Street, was arrested near the intersection of West 16th Street and Carr Avenue on charges of license required, no proof of insurance and license plates required.

Oct. 18

11:05 p.m.: Consuela Diann Bunch, 37, of Neosho, was arrested near the intersection of West 15th Street and South Moniteau Avenue on charges of first degree tampering with a motor vehicle and driving with a suspended/revoked license.

Oct. 19

1:25 a.m.: Wilbur Barnett, 55, of the 1700 block of East Harvey Street, was arrested after a traffic stop near the intersection of West Second Street and Missouri Avenue on charges of distributing synthetic narcotics, distributing marijuana, possession of synthetic narcotics, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Incidents

Oct. 16

12:15 p.m.: A motorcycle, phone, gun and other unspecified items were reported stolen from a residence in the 1800 block of West 11th Street. The motorcycle and phone were recovered.

Oct. 17

8:09 a.m.: Two DeWalt drills, unknown value, and two Stihl chainsaws, valued at $750, were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 900 block of South Marshall Avenue.

9:35 p.m.: A hit-and-run vehicle accident was reported in the 1000 block of West Seventh Street.

Oct. 18

6:25 p.m.: An asset protection associate reported seeing a suspect switch the tags on two articles of clothing valued at $14.88. The suspect then paid only $6 for the two items. The suspect was issued a municipal court summons for stealing.

Oct. 17

1:21 a.m.: A male subject reported an unknown male suspect attempted to rob him at gunpoint in the 26000 block of Goodwill Chapel Road in Sedalia.

Oct. 18

6:35 p.m.: A glass window was reported damaged in the 2800 block of Meadow Wood Drive in Sedalia.

Oct. 19

9:27 a.m.: A 24-foot Gooseneck trailer was reported stolen in the 25000 block of state Route 125 in Smithton.

Oct. 17

9:57 p.m.: Abby L. Thompson, 30, of Osage Beach, was arrested in Morgan County on charges of driving while intoxicated and speeding.

10:46 p.m.: Jessica L. Nivens, 24, of California, Missouri, was arrested in Moniteau County on charges of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the road.

Oct. 18

12:39 a.m.: Tara J. Wisely, 26, of Hartsburg, was arrested in Moniteau County on charges of possession of a controlled substance (trace amount of methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia (meth pipe).

12:39 a.m.: Terry L. Marriott, 19, of Eugene, was arrested in Moniteau County on charges of possession of a controlled substance (about one gram of methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance (four Alprazolam pills) and possession of drug paraphernalia (meth pipe).

12:39 a.m.: Daniel J. Holtmeyer, 27, of Jefferson City, was arrested in Moniteau County on charges of driving with a suspended license and failure to drive on the right half of the road.

1:56 p.m.: Michael L. Barrentine, 22, of Blue Springs, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, speeding and no proof of insurance.

11:02 p.m.: Michael D. Tate, 25, of Marshall, was arrested in Saline County on a charge of driving with a revoked license.

11:04 p.m.: Michael W. Proto, 50, of Jefferson City, was arrested in Moniteau County on charges of possession of a controlled substance (two grams of methamphetamine) and no seat belt.

Oct. 19

11:50 a.m.: Tristan McLaughlin, 24, of Edwards, was arrested in Benton County on charges of possession of marijuana, failure to display valid license plates, no seat belt and no insurance.

1:03 p.m.: Isaiah R. Cardwell, 18, of Edwards, was arrested in Benton County on charges of possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia and no valid driver’s license.
