This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Nov. 1

1:35 a.m.: Thomas Edwin Beck, 27, of the 2800 block of Robin Lane, was arrested near the intersection of West Broadway Boulevard and South Missouri Avenue on charges of driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and headlights required.

Nov. 3

3:01 p.m.: Shannon M. Ivy, 38, of La Monte, was arrested in the 1300 block of South Limit Avenue on a charge of driving with a revoked license.

Nov. 4

7:48 a.m.: Robert W. Roby, 32, of the 1300 block of East Fifth Street, was arrested near the intersection of East Saline Street and Heard Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

Incidents

Oct. 31

2:03 p.m.: A suspect reportedly assaulted a female suspect in the 300 block of West Broadway Boulevard and damaged non-city property.

Nov. 1

6:09 p.m.: A hit-and-run vehicle accident was reported in the 200 block of South Ohio Avenue.

Nov. 4

1:15 p.m.: $80 was reported stolen from a wallet inside a vehicle parked at a business in the 100 block of West Broadway Boulevard.

3:31 p.m.: Sliding glass was reported broken and an unknown amount of jewelry was reported stolen from a residence in the 800 block of Ruth Ann Drive.

4:37 p.m.: Unspecified property, valued at $500, was reported stolen from a residence in the 2000 block of East Seventh Street.

9:25 p.m.: An assault was reported at a residence in the 400 block of East Chestnut Street. No injuries were reported.
