This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

June 15

5:20 p.m.: Elizabeth Ann Myers, 48, of the 200 block of South Missouri Avenue, was arrested in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard on a charge of stealing.

8:47 p.m.: Carl Anthony Hartley II, of the 1200 block of South Lamine Avenue, was arrested in the 200 block of South Quincy Avenue on a charge of possession of marijuana.

10:26 p.m.: Jesse Robert Smith, 48, no address given, was arrested near the intersection of East 16th Street and South Engineer Avenue on a charge of possession of a controlled substance in a county jail.


June 15

7:59 a.m.: Vandalism was reported in the 900 block of West Main Street when windows were damaged on the west side of a building.

5:20 p.m.: A pistol, valued at $633, and an electric meter, valued at $800, were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 1000 block of South Vermont Avenue.

6:12 p.m.: A vehicle was reported keyed in the 1000 block of South Vermont Avenue.

10:34 p.m.: A 12-pack of alcohol, valued at $15.44, was reported stolen from a business in the 800 block of East Broadway Boulevard.

June 16

1:30 a.m.: The front door of a residence in the 1400 block of South Prospect Avenue was reported broken and an unknown amount of items were reported stolen.

7:30 p.m.: Daryl L. Talbert, 49, of St. Louis, was arrested in Johnson County on a charge of two counts of drug possession.
