Nov. 12 Police Reports


This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Nov. 11

12:19 a.m.: William Allyn Weigand, 31, of the 400 block of East Sixth Street, was arrested at his residence on a charge of third degree domestic assault.

Incidents

Nov. 9

8:05 p.m.: The door to the garage of a residence was reportedly forced open and a bicycle was missing. A container containing various unspecified items was also reported stolen from the front porch. Total value of missing items was estimated at $560. The victim said while at work earlier in the day she saw a subject she believed to be riding her bicycle.

Nov. 10

4 p.m.: A vehicle reportedly struck a retaining wall at a business in the 1500 block of Stone Creek Drive. The complainant, who is the owner of the business, said he spoke with the driver and they made an agreement, but he has not heard from the driver again.

4:43 p.m.: A complainant called about two careless and imprudent drivers near the intersection of West Broadway Boulevard and Grand Avenue. The complainant reported they were on “crotch rocket” style motorcycles and were weaving through traffic at a high rate of speed. The suspects were located and issued citations.

6:10 p.m.: $26.26 worth of gas was reported stolen from a business in the 3000 block of South Limit Avenue by a suspect in a gold passenger car.

Nov. 11

4:06 a.m.: A complainant reported he woke up to three subjects inside his residence in the 1300 block of South Warren Avenue. After announcing himself, the subjects left and got into a black vehicle parked outside.
