This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Nov. 12

3:16 p.m.: James Edward Kempf, 52, of the 1300 block of East Boonville Street, was arrested in the 200 block of West Second Street on a charge of stealing.

Nov. 13

7:41 a.m.: Magdaleno Rubio-Chavez, 38, of the 4200 block of West Main Street, was arrested near the intersection of West Broadway and West Main Street on a charge of driving with a revoked license.

11:02 a.m.: Aaron M. Embry, 32, of the 1100 block of South Osage Avenue, was arrested near the intersection of West 12th Street and Kentucky Avenue on a charge of driving with a revoked license.

9:39 p.m.: Gerald James Clement Jr., 23, of the 600 block of East Fifth Street, was arrested at his residence on charges of second degree domestic assault and second degree property damage.

Nov. 14

11:44 a.m.: Cody James Pirtle, 26, of Lincoln, was arrested in the 200 block of West Broadway Boulevard on a charge of possession of marijuana.

4:57 p.m.: Scott D. Woolery, 29, of the 1100 block of East 11th Street, was arrested near the intersection of West 10th Street and Moniteau Avenue on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of dug paraphernalia.

Incidents

Nov. 13

8:06 a.m.: A subject reportedly left a business in the 2400 block of West Broadway Boulevard without paying for a meal valued at $10.88.

12:28 p.m.: $21.26 worth of gas was reported stolen from a business in the 2800 block of West Broadway Boulevard.

1:55 p.m.: About 100 Xbox games and a few game controllers were reported stolen from a residence in the 900 block of Winchester Drive.

2:52 p.m.: A subject reported someone broke into her residence in the 700 block of East 15th Street. The glass of two glass top tables were laying on the floor, TVs were thrown to the floor, a baseboard heater was ripped off the wall, and belongings were scattered throughout the residence.

4:54 p.m.: Six necklaces, valued at $600, were reported stolen from a business in the 4300 block of Wisconsin Avenue. A suspect has been identified.

7:16 p.m.: Someone attempted to pry open the trunk of a vehicle in the 300 block of Buckner Court.

Nov. 14

3:41 a.m.: The back window of a residence in the 2600 block of Woodlawn Drive was reported broken and several unspecified items were reported stolen.

8:59 a.m.: $50 worth of gas was reported stolen from a UHaul truck in the 100 block of West 17th Street.

11:33 a.m.: A subject reportedly entered a residence in the 1400 block of West 11th Street and damaged door moulding.

Nov. 15

10:56 a.m.: The tailgate was reported stolen off a 2007 Dodge truck in the 900 block of South Beacon Avenue.

12:48 p.m.: Two 50-inch Samsung plasma TVs, a 32-inch Samsung plasma TV, three Xbox 360 consoles and two MTX speakers were reported stolen from a residence in the 400 block of East 16th Street.

Arrests

Nov. 13

10:36 p.m.: Timothy D. Schmidt, 42, of Gravois Mills, was arrested in Morgan County on charges of driving while intoxicated, failure to dim headlights and no seat belt.

Nov. 14

9:25 p.m.: John E. Shackelford, 54, of Stover, was arrested in Morgan County on charges of driving while intoxicated, careless and imprudent driving involving an accident, no insurance, no seat belt and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident.

Nov. 15

3:14 p.m.: Jake A. Flores, 34, of Hughesville, was arrested in Benton County on charges of driving while intoxicated and following too close.
