June 19 Police Reports

This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

June 13

10:31 p.m.: Hakeem Stephon Dickson, 18, of the 600 block of East 16th Street, was arrested near the intersection of East Ninth Street and Hancock Avenue on charges of possession of marijuana and minor in possession of alcohol.

June 17

1:59 p.m.: Suzannah T. Stetzenbach, 18, of the 1800 block of East Seventh Street, and Shane E. Hatami, 28, of Lafayette, Ind., were both arrested in the 100 block of East Fourth Street on a charge of stealing.

3:40 p.m.: Glafira E. Luna, 38, of the 300 block of McAnally Court, was arrested at her residence on a charge of operator’s license required.


June 17

9:42 a.m.: A driver’s license was found in the 300 block of West Broadway Boulevard.

12:35 p.m.: A bad check was reportedly written for $532.81 in the 2400 block of South Limit Avenue.

2:03 p.m.: A window on the rear of a residence in the 1500 block of East Seventh Street was reported damaged. It had previously been boarded, and the boarding was removed, causing about $40 in damage.

2:24 p.m.: A 2011 28-inch purple Eastern Trail Digger bicycle, valued at $400, and a 20-inch black-and-green Mongoose BMX bicycle, valued at $120, were reported stolen from the front porch of a residence in the 1200 block of East 19th Street.

5:41 p.m.: Officers responded to a disturbance involving several subjects near the intersection of North Missouri Avenue and West Cooper Avenue. Upon arrival, officers reported seeing several individuals dispersing. As they approached the area on foot, they observed a subject place something behind the fence and run back around the residence. An officer found a .380 caliber handgun near the fence.
