This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.
Sedalia Police Department
11:37 p.m.: Jeremiah Jones, 35, of Mora, was arrested in the 1500 block of South Osage Avenue on a charge of private peace disturbance.
9:10 a.m.: Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 1300 block of East Broadway Boulevard. Upon arrival, both parties were separated. A male subject reported the sound system from his vehicle was stolen, including two 12-inch subs, a Pioneer radio and a seven-inch dashboard TV.
2:54 p.m.: All four tires and wheels, valued at $2,500, were removed from a 1999 Chevrolet Camaro parked on a business lot in the 2100 block of South Limit Avenue.
1:12 p.m.: A license plate was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 800 block of East 10th Street.
1:27 p.m.: A female victim reported she had been arguing with her husband in the 3500 block of South Park Avenue. He then head-butted her and threw her to the ground. He then began choking her, but she was able to kick him away and then called police.
6:03 p.m.: A hit-and-run vehicle accident was reported in the 300 block of East 13th Street.
11:14 p.m.: A victim reported he had been walking home near the intersection of East Fourth Street and South Hancock Avenue when he was approached by an unidentified male subject who pulled out a small handgun and fired three times at the victim. The victim said he ran home and called police.
Pettis County Sheriff’s Office
10:38 p.m.: Angel Amar Harper, of Sedalia, was arrested in the 600 block of South Osage Avenue on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and minor in possession of alcohol.
10:04 a.m.: A burglary was reported in the 2800 block of South Ingram Avenue.
Missouri State Highway Patrol
10:15 a.m.: Elane K. Peters, 36, of Tipton, was arrested in Moniteau County on charges of careless and imprudent driving, driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident.
9:30 p.m.: Kevin D. Minor, 34, of Fulton, was arrested in Saline County on charges of possession of methamphetamine, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana.
9:39 p.m.: Tracy L. Suggett, 48, of Fulton, was arrested in Saline County on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
