This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Nov. 3

11 a.m.: Kyle Richard Palecek, 23, of the 2000 block of East Seventh Street, was issued a municipal court summons at his residence for stealing items in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard.

Nov. 29

3:07 a.m.: Anesha Nicole Sims, 25, and Alicia Marie Sims, 25, both of the 800 block of East Sixth Street, were arrested at their residence on a charge of third degree domestic assault.

4:19 a.m.: Daniel R. Strunk, 52, of Sedalia, was arrested in the 1200 block of South Marvin Avenue on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

10:52 p.m.: Jason C. Miles, 36, of Green Ridge, was arrested in the 2400 block of South Limit Avenue on a charge of driving with a revoked license.

Incidents

Nov. 27

1:02 p.m.: Two DeWalt drills, an 18-inch chainsaw and eight new tires and rims, combined value of $2,000, were reported stolen from a residence in the 2200 block of East Broadway Boulevard.

4:41 p.m.: An iPad with a charger and USB cable, valued at $500, was reported stolen from the Boonslick Regional Library in the 200 West Third Street.

Nov. 28

1:10 p.m.: Subjects were reportedly throwing rocks off the underpass in the 300 block of East Broadway Boulevard. A rock struck a vehicle passing by, damaging it.

2:37 p.m.: A brown-and-white Boxer was reported stolen in the 1800 block of East Sixth Street.

10:54 p.m.: A Hi Point Model C9 handgun containing eight to nine rounds of ammunition, valued at $175, was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 100 block of South Stewart Avenue.

Nov. 29

5:36 p.m.: A subject reported he was sitting at his kitchen table at his residence in the 2900 block of James Road when two suspects entered the residence. They assaulted the subject and stole his wallet, which contained $150 in cash and ID cards. The subject said the suspects’ faces were covered and couldn’t identify them.

Nov. 30

10:32 a.m.: A mailbox was reportedly damaged by a pumpkin in the 2200 block of South Marvin Avenue.

Arrests

Nov. 28

1:45 a.m.: Kyle A. Irvine, 28, of Barnett, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of driving while intoxicated, speeding and no insurance.

3:43 p.m.: Karissa M. Glidewell, 20, of Mayview, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of driving while intoxicated, no valid license, no seat belt, no insurance and registration violation.

7:21 p.m.: Greg A. Butler, 34, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County on a charge of driving with a revoked license.

11:33 p.m.: Cecilio Cacari-Leon, 23, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of driving while intoxicated, no valid license, no insurance, no headlights and no seat belt.

Nov. 29

12:43 a.m.: Christopher D. McKinzie, 33, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of driving while intoxicated, speeding and no insurance.
