Dec. 5-6 Police Reports


This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Dec. 2

7:30 p.m.: Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of West 16th Street and Beacon Avenue. A K9 unit was dispatched and the K9 performed a sniff of the vehicle. The K9 alerted to the presence of drug odor. A search of the vehicle and its occupants revealed methamphetamine, marijuana, drug packaging materials/supplies and drug paraphernalia.

Robert Woolery, 25, no address given, was arrested on charges of second degree trafficking meth, possession of meth, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold pending the filing of charges. Anthony L. Dorsey, 25, of the 1200 block of South Lamine Avenue, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked and released at the Pettis County Jail.

Dec. 3

7:44 a.m.: Lisa R. Daniel, 42, of Kansas City, was arrested near the intersection of West 17th Street and South Kentucky Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

12:09 p.m.: Kimberli Jayne Burton, 55, of the 2900 block of Lake Drive, was arrested in the 2800 block of West Broadway Boulevard on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

6:46 p.m.: Tiffany Suzanne Epp, 39, of the 200 block of South Grand Avenue, was arrested at her residence on a charge of resisting arrest/failure to obey after running from officers who had reported to a disturbance at her residence.

Dec. 4

8:14 p.m.: Nathan Paul McMillin, 19, of the 100 block of Roadrunner Court, was arrested in the 3100 block of West Broadway Boulevard on charges of stealing and forgery. McMillin, an employee at the business, allegedly had been changing the value of various merchandise to a lower or zero price and then purchasing the items for himself. It was an ongoing occurrence, which totaled $910.

Dec. 2

9:20 a.m.: A subject reported an unknown person shot a BB gun overnight at his vehicle in the 400 block of East Third Street. The rear windshield was shattered and a small hole could be seen in the window.

12:38 p.m.: The rear driver’s side window of a vehicle was reported shattered by a BB gun in the 100 block of South State Fair Boulevard.

1:16 p.m.: A rock and a brick were thrown through two windows of a business’ garage in the 700 block of South Osage Avenue. Both items struck and damaged vehicles inside the garage.

2:10 p.m.: $405 in cash was reported stolen from a vehicle parked at a business in the 4000 block of South Limit Avenue.

3:15 p.m.: The rear window of a vehicle was reported broken in the 200 block of South Missouri Avenue. The cause was unknown, but the damage was similar to damage on other vehicles in the area.

11:55 p.m.: A female subject reported as she was headed home in the 900 block of West 11th Street, a female suspect known to her approached her and punched her repeatedly, causing minor injury to her face.

9:07 p.m.: A sexual assault was reported in the 5900 block of Limit Avenue in Sedalia.

Arrests

Dec. 3

11:14 a.m.: James R. Carroll, 53, of Osceola, was arrested in Henry County on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

6:15 p.m.: Jeramy S. Beel, 35, of Ionia, was arrested in Henry County on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, driving with a revoked license and speeding.
