Dec. 16 Police Reports


This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Incidents

Dec. 10

5:29 p.m.: A light gray 1995 four-door Toyota Camry missing the front hubcap was reported stolen in the 1100 block of East 10th Street. The victim stated they loaned the vehicle to a friend for a short trip across town and it was never returned and they are unable to make contact with the suspect.

Dec. 14

10:25 a.m.: Two black males and a white female reportedly stole $300 worth of merchandise from a business in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard and left the scene in a brown Lincoln four-door car.

1:08 p.m.: An officer assisted the Department of Family Services at Smith-Cotton High School for a report alleging child abuse in the 600 block of West Sixth Street. DFS told the officer a juvenile had sustained minor injuries as a result of an altercation with their mother.

2:03 p.m.: Officers received a report of a vehicle being parked in a parking lot near the intersection of West Third Street and South Lamine Avenue for nearly a month. It was confirmed to be stolen out of Rolla and was taken to SPD to hold for the Rolla Police Department.

Arrests

Dec. 14

12:10 p.m.: David A. Olson, 33, of Osage Beach, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding.

9:31 p.m.: Nathanial D. Alvarado, 19, of Warrensburg, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of possession of marijuana, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and no insurance.
