This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

June 19

7:35 p.m.: Terez Dominique Lewis, 26, of Sedalia, was arrested at West 18th and Stewart streets on charges of driving with a revoked license and expired registration.

June 20

3:13 a.m.: Donnie Lee Friend, 28, of Sedalia, was arrested in the 600 block of East Broadway Boulevard on charges of possession of synthetic narcotics (Demerol and Methadone), driving on a suspended license, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to properly display license plates.


June 19

9:32 a.m.: A hit-and-run was reported at West Broadway Boulevard and Grand Avenue.

7:15 p.m.: A woman reported that she was pushed, slapped and assaulted in the 200 block of West 17th Street.

7:18 p.m.: A burglary was reported in the 300 block of North Park Street. A computer worth $200 was reported stolen.

June 20

10:30 a.m.: A warrant arrest was conducted by officers following a traffic stop at 5th Street and New York Avenue.

12:33 p.m.: A report of property damage was taken in the 1500 block of Driftwood Street. The resident claimed her outdoor stairs had been set on fire.

6:58 p.m.: A woman reported that a male touched and grabbed her at the Liberty Park Pool.

June 20

9:32 a.m.: David D. Cochran, 55, was arrested in Johnson County on suspicion of possession of marijuana, speeding, no possession of insurance and not wearing a seat belt.

June 21

12:45 a.m.: Reed R. Harms, 21, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
