This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Sedalia Police Department

Arrests

Dec. 18

4:54 p.m.: Amber N. Wilson, 25, of the 500 block of West Fourth Street in Sedalia, was arrested in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard on a first degree trespassing charge.

8:05 p.m.: Timothy Eric Delph, 53, of La Monte, was arrested near the intersection of West Broadway Boulevard and Industrial Avenue on a charge of driving while intoxicated (persistent offender)

8:48 p.m.: Virgil A. Edgar, 42, of the 400 block of North Grand Avenue in Sedalia, was arrested in the 400 block of North Grand Avenue on charges of disturbing the peace, failure to obey an officer and resisting arrest.

8:50 p.m.: Anton L. Simmons, 33, of the 1000 block of East 17th Street in Sedalia, was arrested near the intersection of East 16th Street and South Summit Avenue on charges of Driving on a suspended or revoked license, and no license plates.

Incidents

Dec. 18

8:40 p.m.: A report of tampering with a vehicle was taken in the 3800 block of West Broadway Boulevard. The vehicle was taken and later found in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard.

9:54 p.m.: A report of theft by stealing of two PlayStation 4 controllers was reported in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard in Sedalia.

11:50 p.m.: A burglary three TVs, valued at $3,267, was reported. in the 1800 block South Barrett Avenue.

Dec. 19

A dead body was discovered at a home in the 1500 block of East Fourth Street. Rescue personnel attempted life saving procedures, but the person was declared dead at the scene my the Pettis County Coroner.

A report of theft by stealing of two trailers was taken in the 3100 block of Brianna Street. The victim said the trailers, were carrying tools valued at $15,000. The two trailers, valued at $25,000, were later found in the Kansas City area with the tools missing.

8:50 a.m.: An assault was reported in the 400 block of North Grand Avenue. According to police, the victim was sleeping on the couch in the residence, when someone entered and struck the person injuring her nose and lip.

10: 50 a.m.: A burglary was reported in the 1200 block of South Massachusetts Avenue. Items were stolen from a tenant who had previously been evicted.

Pettis County Sheriff’s Office

Arrests

Adam Michael Moore, 31, was arrested at a motel on South Highway 65 after a two-month search on outstanding warrants issued by multiple law enforcement agencies and a no bond parole/probation violation. Moore was arrested following his flight from several law enforcement agencies during the two-month period.

Dec 17

Pettis County deputies took a theft and property damage report in the 30000 block of Salem Road.

Dec. 18

Midnight: Pettis County deputies took a theft report in the 30000 block of Highway HH.

Missouri State Highway Patrol

Arrests

Dec. 20

Sean M. Maddox, 21, of Kansas City, Missouri, was arrested in Clay County on charges of driving while intoxicated, speeding, not wearing a seat belt and not possessing insurance.

Dec. 20

1:15 a.m.: Jeffrey M. Paul, 26, of Kansas City, Missouri, was arrested in Clay County on charges of driving while intoxicated and a lane violation.

1:34 a.m.: Patrick D. Anderson, 24, of Long Beach, California, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of driving while intoxicated, driving the wrong way on a one way street and possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana.

1:52 a.m.: Crystal R. Coke, 35, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of driving while intoxicated and having no insurance.

2:28 a.m.: Hazel E. Chapman, of Ocala, Florida, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving.
