Dec. 30

11:45 a.m.: Patrick Wayne Grinstead, 25, of Lincoln, was arrested near the intersection of West Broadway Boulevard and Limit Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

4:16 p.m.: Kevin Neil Richards, 33, of Sedalia, was arrested in the 200 block of West Second Street on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.


Dec. 30

9:55 a.m.: A business near the intersection of West Second Street and South Grand Avenue reported it received two counterfeit $50 bills.

1:21 p.m.: A male victim was reportedly shot in the 2100 block of East 10th Street and sustained a gunshot wound. His injuries were non-life threatening and he was treated and released at Bothwell Regional Health Center. The victim told officers he had been in an argument when he was shot by a subject known to him. The incident is under investigation by the SPD Criminal Investigations Bureau.

1:45 p.m.: A burglary was reported at a residence in the 1900 block of South Harrison Avenue. Officers reported the residence’s back door was visibly forced open and they noticed evidence that someone had gone through several rooms looking for valuables. It is unknown exactly what was taken.
