This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Jan. 1

1:09 p.m.: Sami J. Luttrell, 27, was arrested in the 3100 block of East Broadway Boulevard on charges of Driving while suspended, possession of marijuana, no license plate and an outstanding warrant.

8:54 p.m.: Aaron Davis Meyer, 23, of the 23000 block of Ryan Road in Sedalia, was arrested near the intersection on East Broadway Boulevard on charges of distribution/delivery of marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jan. 2

1:48 a.m.: Tasha Ann Lesmeister, 22, of the 12oo block of East 12th Street in Sedalia, was arrested in near the intersection of South Moniteau Avenue and West Sixth Street on charges of driving while intoxicated and not in possession of insurance.

3:48 a.m.: Shawn Wesley Spellmyer, 41, of the 1500 block of West Fourth Street in Sedalia, was arrested near the intersection of West 16th Street and McDonald’s Avenue on charges of driving while suspended and excessive speed.

2:26 a.m.: Helen Melissa Jones, 34, of the 25000 block of Highway W in Sedalia, was arrested in the 1600 block of East Broadway Boulevard on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, no seat belt and an outstanding warrant.

10:33p.m.: Michael J. Amos of the 600 block of West Second Street in Sedalia, was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana, and an outstanding warrant.

Jan. 1

11:02 a.m.: A hit-and-run vehicle accident was reported outside a residence in the 1400 block of East Broadway Boulevard.

Jan. 2

3:48 a.m.: A report of domestic violence was taken in the 600 block of West Broadway Boulevard.

12:43 p.m.: A theft by stealing of a tailgate from a Dodge pickup, valued at $300, was reported in the 1000 block of South Grand Avenue.

Arrests:

Jan. 3

2:11 a.m.: Raul Estrada Perez was arrested near the intersection of Vermont Avenue and Main Street on charges of driving while revoked or suspended, no proof of insurance, no seat belt and failure to equip a motor vehicle with two approved red tail lamps.

Dec. 30

1 p.m.: A theft by stealing of gasoline worth $17 was reported from a business in the 400 block of West Main Street in Green Ridge.

Jan. 1

12:21 p.m.: A report of harassment by a Hughesville man was taken at the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office.

7:35 p.m.: Joseph C. Roberts, 50, of Warsaw, was arrested in Henry County on charges of felony driving while revoked and possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana.

11:09 p.m.: Gregory C. Burel, 38, of Cole Camp, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of driving while intoxicated, lane violation resulting in a crash and no insurance.

Jan. 1

12:10 a.m.: Roy E. Harris, 56, of Warrensburg was arrested in Johnson County on charges of misdemeanor possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

12:37 a.m.: Tyan P. Meyer, 18, of Kansas City, Missouri, was arrested in Clay County on charges of driving while intoxicated and speeding.

1:21 a.m.: Nicholas E. Clear, 31, of Knob Noster, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of driving while intoxicated, speeding and no seat belt.

1:42 a.m.: john D. Mackey, 27, of Liberty was arrested in Clay County on charges of felony tampering in the first degree, and an outstanding warrant.

2:04 a.m.: Amanda M. Gaddy, 33, of Marshall, was arrested in Saline County on charges of driving while intoxicated and failing to signal.

6:21 p.m.: Christopher R. Culp, 27, of Oak Grove, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of driving while intoxicated and possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana.

Jan. 2

12:10 a.m.: Kaitlyn D. Cundiff, 24, of Kansas City, Missouri, was arrested in Clay County on charges of driving while intoxicated, a lane violation and speeding.

12:20 a.m.: Krista M. Wilcoxson, 26, of Prairie Home, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of driving while intoxicated and speeding.

8:55 a.m.: Brian P. Lloyd, 26, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of possession of a controlled substance, felony distribution of a controlled substance, felony unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, speeding, failure to drive on right half of roadway, no insurance and improper display of a handicapped placard.

10:55 a.m.: Julio M. Diaz, 34, of Carroll, Iowa, was arrested in Clay County on charges of driving while intoxicated and driving while suspended.

3:11 p.m.: Michael D. Tate, 25, of Marshall, was arrested in Saline County on charges of felony driving while revoked, an outstanding warrant, no insurance and no seat belt.

Jan. 3

1:05 a.m.: Jose M. Ortega, 20, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
