This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Sedalia Police Department

Arrests

Jan. 28

7:05 p.m.: Andreya Lea Keith, 34, of the 1700 block of East Seventh Street, was arrested in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard on a charge of stealing by shoplifting.

Jan. 29

7;19 p.m.: Drake Lee Stetzenbach of the 1300 block of South Warren Street in Sedalia, was arrested near the intersection of East 10th Street and Lamine Avenue on charges of felony possession of marijuana, distribution of marijuana, and unlawful use of weapon following a traffic stop for a defective license plate light.

Jan. 30

2:57 p.m.: Grant T. Barnum, 17, of Windsor, was arrested in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard on a charge of stealing by shoplifting.

5:15 p.m.: Freddie g. Gaylord, 48, of Cyprus Drive in Sedalia, was arrested in the 3200 block of West Boradway Boulevard on charges of burglary in the first degree, stealing in the third degree and an outstanding warrant.

10:33 p.m.: David S. Cason, 24, address unknown, was arrested in the 700 block of East Broadway Boulevard on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of schedule two narcotics and an outstanding warrant.

10:37 p.m.: Timothy L. Vogel, 34, of Cole Camp, was arrested near the intersection East Broadway Boulevard and South Ingram Avenue on charges of driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Pettis County Sheriff’s Office

Arrests

Jan. 30

Pettis County Sheriff’s deputies, assisted by officers of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Tipton Police Department, Moniteau County Sheriff’s office and the California Police Department arrested Robert Allan Peery, age unknown, of Knob Noster, following a high speed pursuit that began in the area of Howard and Harding Streets. The pursuit continued onto eastbound U.S. Highway 50 through Pettis County and ended one mile from Cole Camp. Peery was charged with failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, stealing copper wire, possession of burglary tools, felony resisting arrest, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway, failure to stop at a stop sign, no seat belt, operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner, driving while suspended, trespassing and tampering with evidence.

Arrests:

Jan. 30

3: 27 a.m.: Jesus S. Campoy-Estrada, 21, of Kansas City, Kansas, was arrested in Clay County on charges of driving while intoxicated and no driver license.

5:16 a.m.: Jonathon M. Gonzalez, 24, of Kearney, was arrested in Clay County on charges of driving while intoxicated and speeding.

Jan. 31

12:03 a.m.: Cara L. Caldwell, 30, of Warrensburg, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of driving while intoxicated and failure to maintain right half of roadway.

1:51 a.m.: Willie A. Taylor, 31, of Knob Noster, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of felony driving while intoxicated and speeding.

1:50 a.m.: Conner J, Kietzman, 20, of Tonganoxie, Kansas, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of driving while intoxicated, speeding and being a minor in possession of alcohol.

11:53 a.m.: Richard E. Hornbeck, 30, of Kansas City, Missouri, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of felony driving while intoxicated, speeding, a lane violation and no seat belt.
