Feb. 11 Police Reports


This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Feb. 6

7:30 p.m.: Christian M.R. Boone, 18, of the 600 block of Wilkerson Avenue, was arrested near the intersection of East Sixth Street and Washington Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

Feb. 9

1:49 p.m.: Derek G. Naylor, of the 24000 block of state Route O, was arrested in the 300 block of South Lamine Avenue on a charge of stealing. Naylor allegedly stole items from a business Jan. 30 in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard.

1:56 p.m.: Freddie G. Naylor, 27, of the 2900 block of Westlake Drive, was arrested in the 300 block of South Lamine Avenue on a charge of stealing. Naylor allegedly stole items from a business Jan. 30 in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard.

3:27 p.m.: Terry Ray Strause, 55, of the 400 block of East 13th Street was arrested at his residence on a charge of third degree domestic assault. Officers responded to a report of a disturbance. Contact was made with everyone involved. Everyone’s story differed from each other in regard to what happened. Two victims had sustained minor injuries, so their respective attackers were arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail.

3:30 p.m.: David G. Williams, 24, of the 3800 block of Southgate Circle, was arrested in the 400 block of East 13th Street on a charge of third degree assault. Officers responded to a report of a disturbance. Contact was made with everyone involved. Everyone’s story differed from each other in regard to what happened. Two victims had sustained minor injuries, so their respective attackers were arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail.

Incidents

Feb. 8

10:23 a.m.: A female subject reported she heard a loud pop Feb. 5, and the next day she located a bullet hole in the front of her residence in the 1900 block of South Lamine Avenue.

Feb. 9

5:29 p.m.: A hit-and-run vehicle accident was reported in a parking lot in the 4200 block of Wisconsin Avenue.

Arrests

Feb. 10

1:43 a.m.: Calvin W. Comfort, of Sedalia, was arrested near the intersection of Seventh Street and Mildred Avenue in Sedalia on charges of driving with a suspended license and failure to equip a vehicle with a rear license plate lamp.
