Feb. 15 Police Reports


This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Feb 12:

11:29 a.m.: Zenaida Bocanegra, 44, of the 2100 block of East Seventh Street in Sedalia, was arrested on charges of burglary in the second degree, endangering the welfare of a child in the second degree and stealing by shoplifting from the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard.

4:08 p.m.: A report of theft by stealing of gasoline was taken in the 800 block of West Broadway Boulevard.

10:41 p.m.: Eric Rogers, 25, of the 22000 block of Doorance Road in Sedalia, was arrested near the intersection of West 16th Street and South Beacon Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license and an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.

Feb. 13

4:32 a.m.: A report of theft by stealing of an Xbox One was taken in the 1200 block of South Massachusetts Avenue.

11:12 a.m: Anthony E. McBroom, 34, of Davis, Oklahoma, was arrested in the 3500 block of West Broadway Boulevard on charges of forgery and identity theft for passing counterfeit currency at two area businesses.

11:12 a.m.: Tera L. Priest, 37, of Stafford, Texas, was arrested in the 3500 block of West Broadway Boulevard on an out of state fugitive warrant, forgery, and an outstanding warrant out of Saline County.

2:07 p.m.: A report of theft by stealing of a Blue Rhino propane tank was reported in the 1200 block of East Third Street.

Feb.14

2:30 a.m.: Casey L. Allred, 26, of Kansas City, Missouri, was arrested in the 1800 block of South Vermont Avenue on charges of sexual misconduct in the second degree, felony possession of marijuana, with intent to distribute, and possession of drug paraphernalia after police received a call about a suspicious vehicle in the area, according to a police report. Police arrived and made contact with Allred who allegedly exposed below the waist in his vehicle. Allred was then taken into custody and officers found the alleged narcotics and paraphernalia in his vehicle. He was then transported to the Pettis County Jail.

Feb. 13

Rafael Martinez, Jr., 24, was arrested by Pettis County Sheriff’s deputies with assistance from the Sedalia Police Department, near the intersection of U.S. Highway 50 and State Highway MM on charges of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, trafficking a controlled substance in the first degree, speeding, no proof of insurance, and no seat belt.

Feb. 14

1:34 a.m.: Bo D. Skeel, 25, of Lincoln, Missouri, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of driving while intoxicated, no proof of insurance and no headlights.

1:53 a.m.: Patrick W. Grimes, 23, of Otterville, was arrested in Pettis County on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

3:28 a.m.: Megan R. Keller, 27, of Kansas City, Missouri was arrested in Clay County on charges of driving while intoxicated and a lane violation.

4:10 a.m.: Joseph C. Dean-Buchanan, 31, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of driving while intoxicated and driving with a suspended license.

Feb. 13

10:10 p.m.: Matthew W. Lawson, 42, of Marshall, was arrested in Saline County on charges of no seat belt and an outstanding warrant.

2: 16 p.m.: Aaron J. Abney, 20, of Butler, was arrested in Henry County on charges of felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, driving with a suspended license, and no front license plate.
