Feb. 19 Police Reports


This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Feb. 17

7:34 p.m.: Jacob Michael Snyder, 28, of the 700 block of South State Fair Boulevard on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

An officer stopped a vehicle near the intersection of 16th Street and South Ohio Avenue for no license plate lights and disobeying a stop sign. During the traffic stop investigation, the officer detected the odor of marijuana from inside the vehicle. A search revealed the passenger was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

9:40 p.m.: Shane M. Doyle, 35, of Boonville, was arrested in the 2000 block of West Broadway Boulevard on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

Incidents

Feb. 17

8:51 p.m.: A garage in the 800 block of East 11th Street was reported damaged by a vehicle allegedly colliding into it. The victim estimated the damage around $2,000.

Arrests

Feb. 17

3:53 p.m.: Amanda A. Towler, 30, of Concord, North Carolina, was arrested in Saline County on charges of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

3:53 p.m.: Alejandro J. Caceres, 30, of Kanawha, West Virginia, was arrested in Saline County on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.

9:25 p.m.: Quinten T. Boykin, 27, of St. Louis, was arrested in Saline County on charges of speeding, no proof of insurance and driving without a driver’s license.

11:38 p.m.: Shane T. Campbell, 40, of Warrensburg, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of driving while intoxicated and driving with a suspended license.

Feb. 18

12:32 a.m.: Billy J. Shannon, 23, of Jamestown, was arrested in Moniteau County on charges of driving while intoxicated, no license plate lamp, no insurance and failure to maintain the right half of the road.
