Incidents

Feb. 23

3:21 p.m.: A hit-and-run vehicle accident was reported in the 600 block of South Engineer Avenue, involving a vehicle parked along the street.

7:40 p.m.: A burglary was reported at a residence in the 100 block of Summer Avenue. The front door was forced open and items were thrown around the residence. Nothing was reported missing but the door was damaged.

Arrests

Feb. 23

9:31 a.m.: Ethan P. Watts, 24, of Independence, was arrested in Benton County on charges of second degree felony tampering and felony possession of methamphetamine.

9:38 a.m.: Ted L. Valdreau, 41, of Independence, was arrested in Benton County on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and second degree felony tampering.
