This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

June 16

1:55 p.m.: James E. Miller, 43, of the 1100 block of South Osage Avenue, was arrested in the 200 block of West Second Street on a charge of stealing and fraudulent use of a credit device.

2:25 p.m.: Alphonso C. Ferguson, 28, of the 1600 block of South Stewart Avenue, was arrested in the 200 block of West Second Street on a charge of stealing.

June 24

12:15 a.m.: Corey Dean Elder, 51, of the 1300 block of South Ohio Avenue, was arrested near the intersection of West 16th Street and South Warren Avenue on charges of driving while intoxicated, speeding and license plates required.

June 26

7:38 a.m.: John Wesley Sutterby, 32, of the 4900 block of Vernon Road, was arrested near the intersection of West Main Street and Winchester Drive on a charge of driving with a revoked license.

9:09 a.m.: Viktor V. Gergovskyy, 24, of the 1000 block of South Harrison Avenue, was arrested near the intersection of East 19th Street and Ingram Avenue on charges of possession of marijuana and operator’s license required.

2:35 p.m.: Dustin E. Bailey, 28, of Springfield, was arrested in the 200 block of West Second Street on a charge of second degree statutory rape.

June 27

2:18 a.m.: Jessica Danielle Williams, 26, of the 24000 block of Oak Grove Lane, was arrested near the intersection of East Third Street and South Summit Avenue on charges of possession of synthetic narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

8:38 a.m.: Helen Melissa Jones, 33, no address given, was arrested in the 3800 block of South Limit Avenue on a charge of first degree trespassing.

3:23 p.m.: Rogelio Salas-Serrano, 39, of the 600 block of West Third Street, was arrested in the 1600 block of West Broadway Boulevard on a charge of driving with a revoked license.

5:08 p.m.: Paul Lawrence Hartelt, 35, of the 400 block of Welch Court, was arrested in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard on a charge of driving with a revoked license.

9:10 p.m.: Austin Taylor Schoonover, 22, of the 300 block of West 10th Street, was arrested in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard on a charge of stealing.

11:55 p.m.: James Rhey Thomas, 34, of the 1600 block of Margarett Lane, was arrested near the intersection of South Limit Avenue and Heck Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

June 28

10:03 a.m.: Charles P. Winsauer, 33, of the 200 block of South Grand Avenue, was arrested near the intersection of East Seventh Street and Lafayette Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

Incidents

June 26

9:08 a.m.: A male subject reportedly stole a yellow CAT brand T-shirt, valued at $19.99, from a business in the 2400 block of South Limit Avenue. The complainant reported they allowed the subject to try on the shirt and a pair of jeans in a dressing room, and when the subject left he was wearing the stolen shirt under his own shirt.

10:14 a.m.: A bag containing clothes, an ID card and a Social Security card was reported stolen from the front porch of a residence in the 1300 block of South Ohio Avenue.

12:08 p.m.: A white male reportedly left a business in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard with several unspecified items concealed in a plastic trash can.

2:42 p.m.: A dealer plate reportedly flew off a vehicle during a test drive in the 3100 block of Erika Avenue.

3:41 p.m.: A white 2007 Chevy HHR with a chrome luggage rack and damage to the front right fog light was reported stolen from a business parking lot in the 600 block of East 14th Street.

June 27

7:22 a.m.: Two vehicles were reported egged in the 2900 block of Katy Circle. A canvas of the area revealed at least 12 other addresses had been egged.

2:58 p.m.: A subject reportedly stole a black-and-gold Xbox One headset and an access card for a PlayStation 4, combined value of $115, from a business in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard. The subject left the business in a green mini van with plastic covering the back window.

3:49 p.m.: Money was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 2200 block of West First Street.

3:52 p.m.: A female victim was reportedly stabbed by a male subject known to her in the 1600 block of East Sixth Street. Officers reported the victim had a large laceration to the face, and she was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center. The suspect left the area in a vehicle before officers arrived.

June 28

9:13 a.m.: A hit-and-run involving a vehicle parked outside a residence was reported in the 100 block of South Stewart Avenue.

11:52 a.m.: A license plate was reported stolen from a motorcycle parked under a carport in the 700 block of West Third Street.

12:05 p.m.: A wallet was reported lost at a business in the 1700 block of West Broadway Boulevard. When the victim returned to the business, the wallet had not been turned in and was apparently stolen.

12:19 p.m.: A hit-and-run was reported in the 1400 block of South Barrett Avenue.

June 26

11:20 a.m.: Wesley P. Powell, 28, of Holden, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of driving with a revoked license, careless and imprudent driving resulting in an accident, leaving the scene of an accident and no proof of insurance.

5:15 p.m.: Christchen A. Davis, 23, of Grain Valley, was arrested in Moniteau County on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

8:18 p.m.: Justin M. Todd, 25, of Aspen, Colo., was arrested in Benton County on a charge of possession of heroin.

June 27

12:27 a.m.: Jackie L. Ballew, 63, of Marshall, was arrested in Henry County on a charge of driving a commercial vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .04 or above.

2:43 a.m.: Tyler B. Elliott, 19, of California, Mo., was arrested in Moniteau County on charges of minor visibly intoxicated, no seat belt and failure to signal.

2:46 a.m.: Randall C. Allee, 19, of California, Mo., was arrested in Moniteau County on charges of minor visibly intoxicated and no seat belt.

10:15 a.m.: Richard A. Russell, 31, of Gravois Mills, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of possession of marijuana and no insurance.

11:35 a.m.: Joseph A. Rains, 25, of Warsaw, was arrested in Benton County on a charge of possession of meth.

7:34 p.m.: Robert J. Allnutt, 44, of Carrollton, was arrested in Saline County on charges of driving while intoxicated. failure to provide proof of insurance and failure to secure vehicle as far to the right as possible.

7:54 p.m.: David J. Pundt, 26, of Cole Camp, was arrested in Morgan County on charges of speeding and driving while intoxicated.

June 28

139 a.m.: Matthew R. Hirt, 32, of Warrensburg, was arrested in Henry County on a charge of stealing up to $500.
