Nineteen pageant hopefuls lined the stage at the Macon County Fairgrounds on Saturday night. Only one would be named 2014 Fairest of the Fair, the young woman who will spend the rest of the week making appearances and mingling at our community’s major annual summer event.
This year, Morgan Jade Wix came away with the title. Other placers included the following girls (see inside for winners photo, or visit, www.maconcountytimes): 1st runner up, Macy Kemp. 2nd runner up, Rachel Morgan Tuck (Martha Wilburn Award winner). 3rd Runner Up, Reese Shrum. 4th runner up Briley Driver. 5th runner up, Alexia Faith Bartley. Most Photogenic was Jade Desha Ellis, and Miss Congeniality was Leah Beth Anderson.
The Macon County Fair Princess Pageant was held the same night, with girls ages 13-15 participating. Winners (pictured inside) were as follows: Winner, Grayce Crouch. 1st runner up, Jaden Kaylee Haehl. 2nd runner up, Jacy Madison Russell. 3rd runner up, Brooklyn Grace Brawner. 4th runner up, Kaitlynn Ann Guard. 5th runner up, Halle Drue Shrum.
