A large crowd of about 5,800 people was in attendance for the Sara Evans and Joe Nichols concert Saturday evening. Nichols took the stage first, wooing the crowd with favorites such as “Yeah,” “Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off” and “Sunny and 75.” Later, Evans, a Missouri native, charmed the audience with “Born to Fly,” “Slow Me Down,” and from her new album, “My Heart Can’t Tell You No.” Putting a personal slant on her performance, she also had two of her sisters come onstage and harmonize to the song, “In the Pines.” Evans ended the evening with a contemporary musical twist by performing a Bruno Mars song, “When I was Your Man,” a song by Pink, “Just Give Me a Reason,” and a selection from Neon Trees, “Everybody Talks.”
