The Sacred Heart Gremlins boys soccer team won the Barstow tournament for the second year in a row, beating Class 2 Maryville in the final 5-0.


Sebastian Aguerro assisted on a pair of first half goals, setting up Brandon Cooper and Chris Mergen. Max Martin scored off a Cooper assist to give the Gremlins a 3-0 lead at the half.


The second half opened with a Cooper header off a Devon Grose corner kick to put the Gremlins up 4-0. The final Gremlin score came from Max Martin off a Cooper assist to end out the scoring at 5-0.


The Gremlins were able to complete over 600 passes in the contest never allowing Maryville to establish any type of possession throughout the match.


Sacred Heart will host KC Lutheran at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
