Letitia Gerlt, of Columbia, and Brandon Strathman, of Columbia, were married at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 21, 2013, at Bothwell Lodge State Historic Site in Sedalia.
The bride is the daughter of Phillip and Cindy Gerlt, of Sedalia. The groom is the son of Judy Strathman, of Topeka, Kan.
The Honorable Deborah Mitchell conducted the ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her parents.
Mary Gerlt, cousin of the bride, was the maid of honor. Jones Knight was the flower girl.
Bradley Strathman, brother of the groom, was the best man. Madison Knight was the ring bearer.
A rehearsal dinner was hosted Sept. 20 by Judy Strathman at the German Table in Cole Camp. The wedding reception was Sept. 21 at the Jaycees Beer Garden in Cole Camp.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School, and she received a bachelor’s degree in anthropology in 2007 from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg. She is an office support assistant in Columbia.
The groom graduated in 2003 from Washburn Rural High School in Topeka, Kan., and he received a bachelor’s degree in business in 2008 from Emporia State University in Emporia, Kan. He is a family support eligibility specialist in Columbia.
After a honeymoon to Ireland, the couple live in Columbia.
