Teenager injured in Henry accident
A teenager was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 10:50 a.m. Friday in Henry County.
Ashley J. Torres, 18, of Conway, Ark., was driving north on state Route 13, just south of Southeast 900 Road, when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road, striking a mailbox and trees, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
Torres, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.

One injured in Sedalia accident
A man was injured in a vehicle accident at 2:57 p.m. Wednesday on West 16th Street.
Jesse D. Holt, 31, of the 1600 block of Honda Road, was driving west on 16th Street behind Robert W. Hall, 39, of the 400 block of West Prairie Street, when Holt reached down to pick something up from the floor of his vehicle. When he looked at the road again, he noticed Hall slowing down and also tried to slow down, but crashed into the rear of Hall’s vehicle, according to a Sedalia Police Department report.
Hall was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center with minor injuries.
