Former Missouri point guard Jordan Clarkson is on his way to the Los Angeles Lakers.
Clarkson was selected in the second round of the NBA Draft by Washington with the 46th overall pick before being traded to LA.
He is the fourth Tiger taken in the NBA Draft in the last three years. In 2012, Kim English was picked by Detroit and Marcus Denmon went to San Antonio. Phoenix drafted Alex Oriakhi last year.
In one season with Mizzou, Clarkson was named second-team All-SEC. He was second on the team in scoring, averaging 17.5 points per game. He also led the team in assists. He recorded 34 doube-doubles in 35 games including a career-high 31 points in a win over Southern Illinois.
