This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Feb. 10

9:52 p.m.: Deputies and a Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force detective conducted a drug investigation in the 1900 block of South Stewart Avenue in Sedalia. Deputies were made aware of a large amount of vehicle traffic coming from the residence. They made contact with the homeowners and were allowed to search the residence. Deputies located marijuana, digital scales, drug paraphernalia and two firearms. Connor Matthew Siron 19, of Sedalia, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, unlawful possession of firearms and possession of drug paraphernalia. The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are possible.

Feb. 13

8:44 p.m.: Leah Cota was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana following a traffic stop near U.S. Highway 50 and Rissler Road.

Incidents

Feb. 12

5:38 p.m.: A theft was reported in the 1300 block of East Boonville Road.

9:08 p.m.: Deputies investigated illegal dumping in the 15000 block of High Point Road in Hughesville. The investigation is ongoing.

Missouri State Highway Patrol

Arrests

Feb. 14

10:52 a.m.: Travis J. Lynch, 32, of Lake Ozark, was arrested in Morgan County on a charge of speeding. Troopers also served two Wright County probation violation warrants.
