GIRLS SOCCER

Raymore-Peculiar 5, Smith-Cotton, 0

Ray-Pec defeated Smith-Cotton 5-0, scoring four goals in the second half Friday at Tiger Stadium.

It was the first of two games the Lady Tigers hosted as part of the Smith-Cotton Soccer Tournament.

Their match versus Milton did not conclude before deadline.

Lincoln 27, Sacred Heart 1

The Lady Cardinals scored three runs in the first and 24 in the second in a 27-1 victory over Sacred Heart on the road Friday.

Sloan Swearngin pitched three innings and had three hits and six RBIs. Paige Bybee also had three hits.

HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS

Smith-Cotton hosted the SC Boy’s Tennis Tournament on Friday at Liberty Park.

The Tigers and Jefferson City tied for seventh and Lee’s Summit won the tournament.
