SFCC Softball adds two more

State Fair Community College Lady Roadrunners softball head coach Lyndsey Talbot announced the addition of Sydnee Cotter and Anna Mae Wilkerson to the team Tuesday, beginning at SFCC in the fall.

Cotter is an infielder from Taneyville, Missouri, and played at Forsyth High School.

Wilkerson is a catcher from Clinton.

I-70 Baseball/Softball Tournament postponed

The I-70 baseball and softball conference tournaments begin today after a two-day delay due to weather.

Crest Ridge softball plays Wellington Napoleon at 5:30 p.m. in Concordia.

Smith-Cotto’s Monique Grant broke the school record in the 400 meter dash with a time of 57.82 seconds Tuesday at the SBU Relays.

Grant also took first in the 110m with a time of 12.8 seconds and second in the triple jump with a mark of 35 feet-2 inches.
