Smith-Cotton 10, O’Hara 0

Marilyn Ream led the Lady Tigers (11-5-1) with four goals Thursday in a 10-0 win over O’Hara.

Brianna Pollitt had a hat trick and Jill Vansell, Heidi Treuner and Peyton Sharp had one goal apiece.

Ream and Vansell assisted two goals while Annie Guier, Kristen Farrell Sarah Garcia and Kiara Williams each picked up one assist.

Smith-Cotton’s junior varsity improved to 11-0 with a 7-1 victory over O’Hara.

HIGH SCHOOL GOLF

Sacred heart defeats Cole Camp at Triple Creek

Will Prenger led the Gremlins with a 41 as Sacred Heart out-shot Cole Camp 175-194 at Triple Creek on Thursday. Each Sacred Heart golfer shot a 50 or below.

Chris Mergen was one stroke behind Prenger and Logan Sunnarborg was a stroke behind him at 43.

Jack Lucchesi fired a 49 and Ty Wissman had a 50.

Cole Camp’s Alex Pritzel was medalist, firing a 39. Caleb Self finished with a 44 and Austin Berendzen shot a 47.

Smith-Cotton finish third at conference

Tigers golf landed three All-Conference selections and finished third at the conference tournament Thursday at Clinton.

Jackson Kempton shot a 79, Jerod Rosenbacker shot an 81 and Zach Morrison fired an 85. All three were named All-Conference.

Warrensburg won the tournament with a team score of 307. Nevada finished runner-up with at 319 and Smith-Cotton finished at 333.
