Sedalia Rick Ball Ford won three games Friday and Saturday in Jefferson City to improve its record to 9-0.

Cash Miller struck out seven for Sedalia while Nick Cashman and Clayton Meyer combined for five hits to lead the Junior Legion offense Friday over Jefferson City.

Sedalia Rick Ball Ford 5, Blue Springs Elks 2

Sedalia’s Junior Legion baseball team returned to action in the Jefferson City tournament Saturday with a 5-2 win over Blue Springs Elks.

Corbin Reese picked up the win pitching for Sedalia Rick Ball Ford. Easton Webb led the offense with two hits and an RBI.

Sedalia secured their second tournament win in as many weeks with a 6-0 victory over Jefferson City, their second of the weekend over Post 5.

Alec Luyet pitched a complete-game shutout for Sedalia Rick Ball Ford.

Connor Tichenor led the offense with 2 RBIs, while Rylan Chamberlin, Corbin Reese and Clayton Meyer had two hits apiece.

Sedalia is on the road Monday against the Smithton Storm. They return home Tuesday to host Waverly. Both matchups are scheduled doubleheaders beginning at 6 and 8 p.m.
