On Wednesday, the Bombers offense continued to thrive in a 19-3 win at Joplin.
The Bombers put together a three-run rally in the third as Trey Harris doubled to drive in Jarrod Perry. Jordan Dey then drove in Justin Holt with a single and Harris scored on a wild pitch.
The Bombers added to the lead in the fifth with an RBI single by Dey, then exploded for nine in the sixth. With the bases loaded, a single, a pair of walks and two Bombers hit by pitches brought in five runs. An error and a single brought in two more. By the time the inning was over, the Bombers led 13-0.
They added to the lead in the seventh as Harris scored on a wild pitch and Dey scored on a sacrifice fly before Jack Mercer added a two-run homer.
Dey was 3 for 4 with four runs driven in. Mercer went 3 for 5 with three RBI. Alex Del Rio, Perry and Harris each had two hits.
Dalton Christian started an earned the win, pitching seven innings while allowing three runs on seven hits and issuing no walks.
