Plenty of motorsports featured at Missouri State Fair

The Pepsi Grandstand hosts two days of tractor pulls beginning Sunday, Aug. 14-15, and one night of auto racing during the fair’s conclusion, Sunday, Aug. 21. The Motorcross Final Championship round of the Missouri Fair Cross Series take place Sunday, Aug. 14, and Flat Track TT Races are scheduled for Monday, Aug. 15. Each event, at $7 per ticket, begins at 7 p.m.

The Missouri State Fair Shoot Out featuring Missouri Association Championship Truck and Tractor Pull Qualifying and Finals and Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League will have start times at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 14. All-day tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for youth ages 6-12 and free for kids ages 5 and under.

The Outlaw Truck and Tractor Pulling Association will be held starting at 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 15. All-day tickets are $25 for adults, $12 youth ages 6-12 and free for kids ages 5 and under.

The Fair’s final day offers auto racing in the Pepsi Grandstand with the High Roller Classic featuring ASCS National Sprint Cars and ULMA Late Models. Hot laps will start at 6 p.m. with heat races starting at 7 p.m.

Tickets for the race are $23 for adults, $21 for seniors age 65 and older and military, $10 for students ages 13-17, $5 for youth ages 6-12 and free for kids ages 5 and under.

Tickets for the auto races and the tractor pulls may be purchased through ticketmaster.com or the Missouri State Fair Box Office, which is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 8–10 and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. during the Fair, Aug. 11–21.

Free events in the State Fair Arena include the MSF Classic Farm Tractor and Truck Pull at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 16; Antique Classic Tractor Pull at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Missouri Stock Antique-Classic Tractor Pullers Association at 1 p.m., on Wednesday, Aug 17; and Garden and Mini Rod Pull at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 18.

The Demolition Derby will close out the State Fair Arena at 2 p.m. on Aug. 21 with ticket prices at $12 for adults and $6 for ages 6-12.
