The Sedalia Bombers picked up a 6-1 win over the North Division-leading St. Joseph Mustangs on Sunday at Dey Field at Liberty Park.
The Bombers scored a pair of unearned runs in the first inning to jump into the lead. Jonothan Ramon added to the lead with a two-run home run in the third.
The Bombers struck again in the fifth before St. Joe got on the board in the sixth.

The Bombers opened the post-All-Star break portion of the schedule with a 6-0 win over the Ozark Generals on Saturday.
Burke Echelmeier scattered nine hits in seven innings for the win. He struck out six. Christopher Mancha pitched the last two innings in relief.
Jordan Dey hit a home run. Trey Harris drove in three runs. Justin Holt went 3 for 4.
The Bombers opened the scoring in the first when Harris drove in Jarod Perry. A Harris sacrifice fly brought in Stewart Nelson in the third before Jack Mercer drew a bases-loaded walk later in the inning to force in Perry.
They added two more in the fifth with Dey’s solo home run and Nelson driving in Mercer. Nelson scored to cap off the scoring in the eighth.
