LATE TUESDAY RESULTS

Green Ridge 3, Summit Christian Academy 2

Tigers soccer won its first match of the season Tuesday, 3-2, over Summit Christian Academy in Lee’s Summit.

Luis Gonzales scored the first Green Ridge goal in the 23rd minute on a Keaton Gibbs assist. Jordan Dillon assisted on a Tanner Hoos goal two minutes later.

In minute 32, Gonzalez scored his second goal. Ryan Dove assisted.

Green Ridge faces Knob Noster on the road at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

Sacred Heart 3, Kansas City Lutheran 3 (PPD)

Lightning forced a 3-3 draw Tuesday between Sacred Heart and Kansas City Lutheran at Clover Dell Park in Sedalia.

Sam Bello scored his eighth goal of the season in the first half, and KC Lutheran equalized in the second half.

A Sebastian Aguero penalty kick and a 25-yard Tegan Trammell goal gave Sacred Heart a 3-1 lead.

The Gremlins (2-2-1) play Harrisonville on the road at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

GIRL’S GOLF

Smith-Cotton sixth at Crusader Invitational

Lady Tigers golf finished No. 6 of 17 teams Wednesday at the Helias Crusader Invitational in New Bloomfield.

Rock Bridge placed first with an 18-hole team score of 340. Smith-Cotton shot a team score of 414.

Warrensburg golfer Taylor Black was medalist, shooting a 75.

Annie Guier placed seventh for S-C with a score of 88, while Taylor Fisher earned ninth with a personal-best score of 90.

Brooklyn Boeschen shot 111, McKenna Perusich 125 and Gracie Hoffheins finished at 130.

GIRL’S TENNIS

LATE TUESDAY RESULTS

Boonville 5, Knob Noster 4

Knob Noster girl’s tennis won three of five singles matches but lost 5-4 to Boonville on the road Tuesday.

Alexis Allen, Jessica Yates and Ella Konrad — each 4-1 on the season — picked up victories in respective singles matches.

The Lady Panthers (3-2) host Carrollton at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

GIRL’S VOLLEYBALL

LATE TUESDAY RESULTS

Windsor 2, Archie 1

The Greyhounds improved to 2-0 at home with a victory 19-25, 25-15, 25-19 Tuesday over Archie.

Ashley Ebeling had five kills. Laira Wheatley scored 14 points and had four aces.

Windsor junior varsity played Archie 20-25, 18-25.

The Greyhounds travel to Adrian for a match at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
