Smith-Cotton scored eight goals in the second half to open West Central Conference play with a 10-0 win over Center.
The Tigers had a 2-0 lead at halftime thanks to a Jordan Lawson goal in the fifth minute assisted by Luke Guier and a Guier goal in the 25th minute.
Lawson set up Carlos Aguirre to open the second half scoring in the 43rd minute. Guier then scored his second goal off a Nick Holman assist in the 52nd. Riley Moore scored in the 54th and added another in the 71st. Olman Rubio set up Blake Grupe for a goal in the 60th minute, then scored in the 65th on a penalty. Alex Sanchez scored in the 70th.
Smith-Cotton won the junior varsity game 10-0.
Smith-Cotton (5-0, 1-0 WCC) will visit O’Hara on Tuesday.
