The Smith-Cotton volleyball team bounced back after dropping the first set, beating Jefferson City 19-25, 25-20, 25-22 on Monday. The Lady Tigers trailed by eight points in the third before rallying to win.
Courtney Koetting and Fernanda Alexander helped bring S-C back through strong serving and Koetting and Montana Hedrick combined for 10 kills in the third.
Koetting finished with 12 kills, 15 assists, 11 digs, two aces and a block. Hedrick had eight kills, two blocks and 14 digs. Bailey Curry had 18 digs, four aces, six kills and a block. Tori Jacobi had 15 assists, eight digs, three kills and an ace.
