The Smith-Cotton volleyball team won the Husker Spikefest on Saturday, going 5-1 in pool play and beating Warrensburg 25-20, 25-12 in the final.
S-C split with Maryville in pool play 24-26, 26-24, then beat Northwest 25-14, 25-14, Richmond 25-12, 25-11.
In the semifinal, Smith-Cotton beat Higginsville in three sets 25-20, 24-26, 25-11.
Courtney Koetting had 46 kills, 59 assists, four aces and 35 digs for the tournament including eight kills, 11 assists, eight digs and an ace in the championship match.
Bailey Curry had 29 kills, four aces, 44 digs and three blocks, picking up five kills, nine digs and an ace in the championship.
Montana Hedrick had 39 kills, 47 digs, two aces and six blocks with eight kills, 13 digs and an ace coming in the title game.
Tori Jacobi had 12 kills, 45 assists, 30 digs and six blocks. Darby Simon had seven kills, three blocks and eight digs. Fernanda Alexander had 27 digs and two aces. Brittany Borke added 25 digs. Emilee Edgar had seven kills, two aces, 12 digs and a block. Jenna Rapp had three kills and two digs. Taylor Burlingame had eight digs.
S-C will host St. Pius X on Tuesday.
