Mules fall to Emporia State

The Central Missouri Mules fell 45-34 to Emporia State in a game which concluded Saturday after it was suspended from Thursday due to poor weather.

The game resumed at halftime with the game tied 24-24 and the Mules scored to open the second half as Garrett Fugate found Jordan Keeney for a 10-yard touchdown pass, but Emporia State tied the game a couple minutes later and added two touchdowns in the fourth quarter.

Fugate accounted for 484 of UCM’s 565 yards of offense, completing 24 of 37 passes for 371 yards and two scores and gaining 113 yards on the ground.

The Mules will host Northwest Missouri on Saturday.
