Greenleaf heading to Arkansas-Fort Smith

Jordan Greenleaf, center, sits on the bench during a State Fair women’s game against St. Louis Community College this past season. Greenleaf will be an assistant coach at Arkansas-Fort Smith starting next season.

Jordan Greenleaf is leaving State Fair to become an assistant coach with the womens basketball team at Arkansas-Fort Smith.

Greenleaf was an assistant coach on Kevin Bucher’s staff with the Lady Roadrunners for two seasons as State Fair went 44-15, winning the Region 16 tournament in 2014 and the regular season title in 2015.

Lady Roadrunner players captured Region 16 MVP honors both seasons Greenleaf was on staff, Antoinette Taylor in 2014 and Alecia Cooley in 2015.

“From the day we interviewed Coach Greenleaf I knew she was the right choice for the assistant coach position,” Bucher said. “She has been a great asset in elevating our women’s basketball program. We knew it would only be a matter of time before she would have another opportunity.”
