Shooting woes cost State Fair in loss

The State Fair Lady Roadrunners could not get the offense going Monday in a 66-33 loss at Butler Community College.

Trailing 15-11 after the first quarter, the Lady Roadrunners managed just five points in the second quarter and five in the third. SFCC shot 8 of 52 from the floor, 15 percent.

Butler outscored State Fair 26-8 in the paint.

Zhanesha Dickerson and Danae’ Cole led State Fair with seven points each.

State Fair will travel to the Three Rivers Classic this weekend, facing Wabash Valley on Friday and Kaskaskia on Saturday.
