SFCC falls despite 43 from Rouseau

State Fair went to overtime but lost to Coffeyville 106-99 on Saturday.

The Roadrunners trailed 45-32 at halftime before outscoring the Red Ravens 56-43 in the second half to tie the game 88-88 at the end of regulation. Coffeyville outscored SFCC 18-11 in the overtime.

Ronnie Rouseau scored 43 points for the Roadrunners, hitting 14 of 22 from the field, 5 of 7 from 3-point range and 10 of 12 from the free throw line.

Joshua Bailey scored 14. Willie Jimerson Jr. scored 13 and Clint Robinson added 11.

Robinson pulled down 12 rebounds. Jimerson grabbed 11.

WOMENS BASKETBALL

State Fair 62, Ellsworth 39

The State Fair Lady Roadrunners beat Ellsworth 62-39 on Saturday at Ellsworth.

The Lady Roadrunners led 24-14 at halftime.

Sierra Clayborn led the way with 17 points. Alexis Cowan scored eight and grabbed four rebounds. Kiante Johnson added seven points.

SFCC held a 46-24 rebounding edge. Ellsworth committed 28 turnovers.

State Fair (10-1) will face Highland in the Moberly Classic on Friday.
