Head Coach: Mason Dunnaway, first year

2014-15 record: 12-16, 4-5 Kaysinger

Who’s back: Katie Gibbs, senior forward; Mac Scotten, senior guard; Madi Brown;

Who’s new: Maddy Barnes, good ball-handler; Holly Thomas, strong work-ethic and could see varsity playing time

Who’s gone: Libby Dove; Sam Unkel; BreAnna Peck; Molly Turner

Outlook: Mason Dunnaway comes to Green Ridge after spending the past three seasons as an assistant boys coach at Stover.

“I see a good team chemistry,” Dunnaway said. “I’ve got to have senior leadership. I think I’m going to get that out of Katie Gibbs. That’s who I’m looking to is Katie Gibbs, Madi Brown and Mackenley Scotten. Those are my seniors.”

Offensively the Lady Tigers will try to slow the tempo some and try to make better shot selection, not simply settling for jumpers.

“I’m going to have them make the extra pass, pass up on good shots so we can have great shots,” Dunnaway said.
