The Warsaw Lady Wildcats defeated the Knob Noster Panthers 56-40 in Wednesday night action.
Warsaw lead throughout the contest, leading 34-16 at the half.
Kylie McRoberts had 19 for Warsaw and Raven Coswell contributed 14 points in the Wildcat’s win.
Jessica Sader paced Knob Noster with 14 and Jessica Yates added 11.
“As a team we are still trying to figure each out out,” Knob Noster coach Deron Brinkley said. What’s great about the group of girl’s I have is that they work hard in practice and continue to work hard every day.”
The Panthers 0-2 on the season will travel to Lee’s Summit for a 4:30 p.m. contest, Monday, Dec. 7 against Summit Christian Academy.

Concordia 63, Northwest 27
The Concordia Lady Orioles defeated the Northwest Lady Mustangs 63-27 Tuesday.
The Lady Orioles led 33-16 at halftime.
Concordia was led by Cailey Cooper with 17 points. Ellison Brunkhorst added 12 points and Sami Brackman added 11.
“We shot the ball well (Tuesday night). We spread out the scoring — three in double figures and nine of the girls contributing,” said Concordia coach Susie Vandevender. “Our pressure defense caused them to turn the ball over. We ran the court and passed the ball well. The girls are such team players, always looking down the court for their teammate.”
Concordia will play at Carrollton Friday night.

Skyline 87, Knob Noster 25
The Knob Noster Lady Panthers fell to Skyline with a final score of 87-25 Monday in the Warsaw Tournament.
Jessica Sader was Knob Noster’s top scorer with 15 of the 25 points.
“Going into this game we knew it would be very tough. Skyline is a team that went to state last year and returned a lot of their players from last season,” said Knob Noster coach Deron Binkley. “The lady Panthers played very well for the first game of the season and under the circumstances we were put in.”
Skyline 76, Warsaw 55
Skyline took the win Tuesday night against Warsaw with a final score of 76-55.
Skyline went into halftime leading 40-25.
Warsaw’s leading scorers were Austin McCall with 20 points and eight rebounds, and Matt Luebbert with 12 points and seven rebounds.
Warsaw 0-1 plays in the consolation semi-final of the Warsaw Tournament at 9 p.m. Thursday against Eldon.
Jefferson City 68, Sacred Heart 55
Jefferson City defeated Sacred Heart 68-55 in the first round of the Marshall Tournament.
Sacred Heart led 29-27 at halftime.
Trent Lyles led Sacred Heart with 24 points. Alden Harding added nine for the Gremlins.
Sacred Heart 1-1 will face Marshall at 4 p.m. Thursday in the Marshall Tournament.
Knob Noster 60-Eldon 58
The Knob Noster Panthers defeated the Eldon Mustangs in the first round of the Warsaw Tournament.
Knob Noster was down by 12 in the first quarter and trailed by eight at the half.
The game was tied at the end of three quarters.
Knob Noster was led by Lucas Rincker with 35 points and Kyle Zimmerschied who added nine.
Gavin Henderson was the top scorer for Eldon with 22 points. Devin Lewis had 20 for the Mustangs.
“This was a fantastic game to be a part of,” Knob Noster coach Dustin Fox said. “To come back from a 20-4 first quarter deficit and win at the buzzer shows the toughness and fight that this team has.”
The Panthers will face Skyline at 6 p.m. in the Warsaw Tournament tonight.
