Jake Neal followed a 56-point performance from Monday by scoring 33 as the Otterville Eagles beat Bunceton 73-25 on Thursday.

Neal scored the Eagles’ final 10 points of the first quarter as Otterville took a 24-3 lead and had 26 by halftime as Otterville led 45-13.

Garrett Lynn added 12 points for the Eagles.

Otterville (4-1) will host Sacred Heart on Monday.

Warsaw 88, Buffalo 87

Warsaw withstood a 31-point fourth quarter to beat Buffalo 88-87 on Thursday.

Buffalo tied the game with the late rally before the Wildcats’ Matt Luebbert hit a free throw with no time on the clock to win it.

Dayton Krueger had 23 points. Austin McCall had 21. Jon Plybon added 14 points. Logan Davis had 10 points. Luebbert had 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Warsaw (1-5) will visit Lincoln on Friday.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Cole Camp 52, Sacred Heart 21

The Cole Camp girls basketball team beat Sacred Heart 52-21 on Thursday.

The Bluebirds jumped out to a 14-4 lead after one quarter and led 26-12 at halftime.

Bailey Heimsoth led Cole Camp with 16 points. MacKense Gudde added 15.

Elayna Ebers led the Gremlins with eight points.

Cole Camp (6-2) will face Versailles on Saturday.

Sacred Heart will face Santa Fe on Saturday in the W-K Shootout.

Tipton 61, Pleasant Hill 45

Tipton pulled away in the second half to beat Pleasant Hill 61-45 on Thursday.

Destiny Dowell had 20 points, five steals, five assists and seven rebounds to lead the Cardinals. Maddi Eldringhoff scored 14 points. Brooklyn Pace had 13 points and eight rebounds. McKenzie Higgins had 12 rebounds.

Tipton (6-3) will face Russellville on Dec. 28 at the W-K Shootout.

Holden 56, Knob Noster 39

Holden rallied in the second half to beat Knob Noster 56-39 on Thursday.

The Lady Panthers led 12-7 after one quarter and 24-19 at halftime before being outscored in the third quarter 15-9.

Jessica Sader led Knob Noster with 26 points.

Knob Noster (0-6) will face Gallatin at noon Tuesday at North Central College.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Hickman 40, Smith-Cotton 15

Hickman beat Smith-Cotton 40-15 on Wednesday.

Smith-Cotton will face Pleasant Hill on Saturday at the W-K Shootout.
