The State Fair Community College Mens basketball team defeated the Three River Raiders 97-85 at home Saturday night.
SFCC lead at the half 56 to 48 before leading by 20 points in the second half 78 to 58.
The Roadrunners had a balanced scoring attack with five players in double figures.
Ronnie Rouseau led SFCC with 29 points, shooting 11 of 19 from the field. Willie Jimerson contributed 22 and Duante Stephens added 15.
Joshua Bailey and Clint Robinson rounded out the top scorers adding 11 and 10 points respectively.
Gabe Grant led Three Rivers with 20 points. Terrence Parker added 16 for the Raiders.
The SFCC men next play at home against Moberly Area Community College at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center.
The SFCC Women defeated the Three Rivers Lady Raiders 97 to 71 also at home on Saturday night.
There were two ties in the contest before SFCC built at 12 point lead at the end of the first quarter.
Ge’Naisha Robinson had a double double for the Lady Roadrunners with 24 points and 11 rebounds. Michael Everheart added 12 for SFCC.
Danai’ Cole and Seara Clayborn scored 13 points apiece for Three Rivers. Ecenur Yurdakul added 12.
The Lady Roadrunners will face Moberly Area Community College with a 5:30 tipoff Wednesday at the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center at SFCC.
